Here's a special icon to celebrate the tenth week of Icons Extravaganza!
Special because it took a lot more work than usual. While on most icons I just try to emulate the official artwork closely, on this one I had to redraw the whole thing to make it fit with the rest of the icons.
You see, I think official Shine artwork might be the worse looking that Nintendo has ever released. Look at this here. Mario looks awesome, as usual, but the Shine looks like a 3D render a newbie would make (sorry, guys). Oh, and the eyes! Those dead eyes, staring into my soul!
Anyway, there you have it: a Super Mario Icon that has a lot more of me than usual. I hope you like it as much as you like every other icon!
